Do you think they should make it illegal for you to not have your pet spayed or neutered?
It would allow for serious breeders to continue their practice.

I never had a female dog before so when I saw her in a pet shop I thought I would rescue her from her horrible conditions. Then a few weeks later I rescued a stray that was emaciated and scarred. He had scratches all over him. I thought he would die. I had no idea such a small dog could impregnate a large dog. It was a foolish mistake and now she is pregnant. I didn’t know they had periods either,totaly disgusting. I didn’t want to get her spaded until after she was one year old (this month) because I think it takes away there puppiness. I know they say it doesn’t effect there character but it does. Well, now shes pregnant and I’m contributing to the pet over population. I’m sorry, but what can I do now? Dog abortion? What should I do with the puppies? I feel bad because I thought I was a responsible dog owner. Any ideas?

This bill will require that all pet owners of 4 months or younger spay/neuter their pet, unless a permit is obtained (purchased) to have one litter a year. This permit would have to be renewed annually. Ack! So angry there is smoke coming from my keyboard…

This won’t help at all - it will only take away freedom, make life more expensive and make more ‘outlaws’. Do they really think that pet owners are going to comply - do they know how many people don’t get their animal spayed/neuter just because of the cost already? There will still be many, many homeless animals, even if this law passes. Sigh and grr!
Clarification of bill: You cannot even obtain a license which allows you to own an “unfixed” dog or cat unless at least one of the following can be proven with documentation-
1) You are a Registered and licensed breeder
2) Your pet is purebred AND has competed in at least one show or competition
3) Your pet is a guide/service animal or works in law enforcement
4) Your pet is too old/ill to have the procedure done.

I would also like to clarify my position that this is less about the issue of animal overpopulation and more about how they are going about fixing the problem. This bill would literally take away an owners rights and liberties in regards to their pet. It is the government’s job to guard and protect our freedoms not hinder and degrade them.

Why don’t you question what the VET does and yet we are always questioning the doctors oppinion?

I mean think about this. Although Drew Carey is a little weird on the show, do you still like the Price is Right? Even though Bob Barker is retired, there’s still the same old pricing games, models, prizes, etc., it’s that Drew Carey is just a little weird at times, but he does make some funny comments! In any case, do you still like “The Price is Right” even after Bob Barker retired over the summer?

I have to play Bob Barker in a Christmas The Price is Right play (comedy). The thing is, I have never seen the show and I’m afraid to let the Bob lovers down. Any tips? Does he have a particular accent? Favourite words? Favourite phrase? Low voice? How should I dress?
